Culture surveys

TUC has developed a culture survey that focuses on the relation between the employees’ and managers’ view on the existing company culture and the preferred company culture.

The purpose of this survey is to get a clear and realistic view of the existing working environment, and which areas of the company’s basic values that might need to be strengthened in order to achieve the wanted company culture.

The survey is based on an evaluation of the existing culture based on four overall culture types; the power culture, the system culture, the task culture and the team culture. These four cultures each represent a set of views and actions that reflect the employee’s behaviour and decision making.

Through a series of questions the survey determines the four cultures’ influence on the company’s existing culture and shows the preferred influences in a “new” culture.

This way the company gets an insight into the employees’ perception of the existing culture, and at the same time they can verify if there is match between the existing culture and the preferred culture.
