360 degree management review

Through increased involvement of employees TUC improves the company’s competitiveness. This set of basic values has formed the foundation of TUC's team oriented management philosophy, which in 13 groups of values describes which characteristics a team oriented manager should possess. This management philosophy is the foundation of TUC's management review.

The management review is based on a 360 degree principle, which means that the manager is reviewed by up to 10 people that are placed "around" the manager in different jobs and with different relations to the manager. This includes superiors, equals and subordinates. The participants will also be found in both line- and staff positions.

The management review consists of 65 questions divided in 13 groups of values. The questions are based on management form rather than the manager’s qualifications.

The review will be a useful development tool for the manager and a thorough feedback on management. The manager can, in a clear way, see how other people’s perceptions correspond to his/her own self image. The review also covers the manager’s improvement areas and can be used directly for setting goals for improvement.

For the company it will be a useful supplement to other information that forms the basis for decisions concerning the manager’s further development in the company. Furthermore, the company gets a clear picture of the manager’s qualities and current behavior in relation to a team oriented company culture.

The management review is confidential and the participants are anonymous. All questionnaires are sent directly to TUC in stamped envelopes.
